Freakishly Skinny. The bugbear can move, hide, and squeeze as though it were a Small creature.
Skulk. If the bugbear misses an attack, it doesn't reveal its position to other creatures and can remain hidden.

Multiattack. The bugbear makes two Skull Smash attacks.
Skull Smash. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 10ft., one target. Hit 5 (1d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage.
Surprise Snatch. The bugbear attempts to drag away a creature that is unaware of it within 10 feet. The target must make a DC 12 Strength saving throw. On a failure, the target takes 4 (1d8) bludgeoning damage and is Grappled. The bugbear can then drag the target up to half its speed. Additionally, other creatures that were unaware of the bugbear remain unaware of it.

Skull Smash. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10ft., one target. Hit 11 (2d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage. On a hit, the target must make a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be Grappled (escape DC 14).
Stealthy Sneak. The bugbear moves up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks. It can then attempt to Hide.
Bonus Actions
Surprise Strangle. Immediately after hitting a creature, or if it has Grappled a creature, the bugbear attempts to strangle that creature. The target must make a DC 14 Strength saving throw. On a failure, the target is Grappled, takes 7 (2d6) bludgeoning damage, and cannot speak or cast spells with verbal components until the end of its next turn.

Strangle. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10ft., one target. Hit 9 (2d4 + 4) bludgeoning damage. On a hit, the target is Grappled (escape DC 12) and is pulled 5 feet toward the bugbear. Until this grapple ends, the bugbear automatically hits with its Strangle attack and the target can't breathe. If the target attempts to cast a spell with a verbal component, it must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or the spell fails.
Bonus Actions
Cheap Shot. The bugbear attempts to strike a creature within 10 ft with a cheap shot. The target must make a DC 14 Strength or Dexterity save (target's choice). On a failure, the target's speed is reduced to zero until the end of its next turn. A creature that is Prone makes this save at disadvantage.
Shadow Walk. The bugbear teleports from one source of shadows to another that it can see within 60 feet.
